This is for retro game fans... the old school of the old school! There are a ton of nostalgic video game songs from the 90s, and a couple of dungeon synth and even black metal pieces when things get creepy.
No special hardware needed to play, just a Windows machine with a keyboard and mouse!

Tested on Windows machines. Just need a mouse and spacebar to play. Escape to pause, and maybe another secret key if you make it to the end... :)

Wow this got hard as soon as the pegasus showed up

I'm glad you liked the difficulty. It isn't meant to be too hard, but it shouldn't be too easy either haha. A lot of button mashing like a real arcade shooter lol. The pegasus knight is uniquely hard not just because he moves really fast, but because the warning graphic right before the attack barely looks different, so hard to dodge. And sometimes you don't have a lot of magic to fight him!!
That final battle was a serious pain lol. Just so much about it is special and unusual, had to do a lot of special coding to get it to work and it was seriously annoying to troubleshoot lol. But, it came together with an old-school, classic, 1990s plot twist... and me tipping my hat to Metroid, where you get last minute assistance from.. an unexpected source, in the form of a real superweapon.
And then of course, I had to have that final cutscene and old school credits haha. Couldn't resist, and the music fit perfectly.

I'm actually working on a gameplay video, sadly my recording was almost 2hrs long so the file size is huge, it will take quite a long time to edit it and upload

Meant to ask - did you find the dialogue and 'intel' between levels to be hilarious?
Hell yeah XD, some of them were more helpful than funny, the last one before the dark dragon got me ready for anything

Awesome game, i'm having and issue were my game doesn't load the next segment, after beating the first skeleton in the loading screen it just stays there.
Am i doing something wrong? Did i miss something on the previous level?
